FAQS

Quick Questions

Where does the in-person training session take place?

The in-person personal training sessions take place at Murison Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, located at 230 N Walworth Ave #4, Williams Bay, WI 53191. I am grateful to Kyle Murison for allowing me to utilize his gym to train my clients.

How often can I reach Coach Martin when training online?

You can contact Coach Martin by email and should expect a reply within 24 hours. If you are a “Long Distance Training” client, you will have access to direct messaging on your training app as well as a weekly phone coaching session at a time of your convenience, as well as email accessibility. If you enjoy and require maximal motivation and support, it is best to have weekly phone coaching sessions on top of in-person training.

What if I have pre-existing injuries or conditions?

Any pre-existing injuries should be discussed with Coach Martin so he can modify an exercise routine to best address that issue. If the injury or condition is something that would jeopardize the safety of the client while exercising, a medical clearance may be requested from the client's physician.

What can I expect in an average session?

The first session will probably be focused on physical assessment and discussion on goals and nutrition. The following sessions will focus on an exercise routine that facilitates progression to client goals. Typically 5-10 minutes of warm-up followed by a workout routine, about 45 minutes, designed for your goals.

Do I need to follow a diet?

No, you do not need to follow a diet, but I cannot express enough how important it is to have healthy, nutrient-packed, and sustainable eating habits. I will consistently be giving out suggestions on how you can build these habits. Most importantly, you need to enjoy the diet for it to work long-term, so maintaining balance throughout your plan is essential.
